Spider veins

Spider veins can be treated with sclerotherapy and / or in combination with a vascular laser. Typically, several sessions are needed to remove them. Maintenance treatment is recommended every 6-12 months.

Large green bulging varicose veins are best treated by a surgical procedure such as vein stripping or endovenous laser ablation.

Wearing compression stockings 20-30mm Hg can help prevent development or prevent worsening of varicose veins and spider veins but need to be worn on a daily basis. Higher pressures are more effective. You can be fitted and purchase them at a medical supply store.
