Soften and Smooth Dynamic Facial Lines with Neuromodulators

Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® are botulinum toxin A (BTA) neuromodulators. They are FDA approved for aesthetic use in managing facial lines due to hyperactive facial muscles of expression. The neuromodulator is injected into the overactive muscles, causing a temporary reduction in muscle contractions. This results in smoother appearing skin. Exploratory studies show efficacy beyond treating wrinkles. Conditions such as hyperhidrosis, rosacea, psoriasis, migraines, temporal mandibular joint syndrome, hyperactive bladder, and scar minimization post- surgery have been shown to benefit from BTA neuromodulators.
